The most stable of all Tele Vue mounts, the Gibraltar 5 will cope with the full range of Televue telescopes up to and including the TVNP127!
By varying the length of the legs, the telescope height can be set anywhere from about 36" to 60".
TeleVue latest Gibraltar mount mates the standard Gibraltar tripod with a new larger, heavier alt-az head. The new head is an inch wider than the original Tele-Pod version, has larger bearings, and cradle holes to accept the Tele Vue NP127 baseplate as well as all other Tele Vue scopes. It accepts all accessories including Sky Tour (spacers STS-5002 required to fasten the azimuth encoder cover to the wider baseplate).
