The Sky-Watcher EXPLORER-150PL is a fantastic choice for intermediate astronomers and also the serious beginner. Has a large 150mm of light gathering aperture combined with superb parabolic optics. With a longer focal length of f/8 this telescope provides higher magnification with a given eyepiece than its f/5 cousin, the Explorer-150P.
