The new DSII system from Lunt Solar Systems reduces the bandwidth of LS100THa telescopes to <0.5 Angstrom!
PLEASE NOTE: Only usable at LS100THa telescopes with red anodized front cell on the scope! Not usable at old LS100THa telescopes without the red front cell!
The DSII eliminates the need for an external front mounted filter for double stacking. In this system both Etalons are internal installed in the telescope, and both Etalons are equipped with the tuning system “Pressure Tuner”! This "Pressure Tuner" system allows a better Etalon adjustment than other systems.
The DSII module will be easily installed atl LS100THa telescopes, it is not needed to return the telescope to the manufacturer.
The DSII module is designed for use at the LS100THa telescope only. Because all necessary filters for safety (ERF...) are installed in the LS100THa, the DSII module has no extra filter like this. Therefore the module cannot be used without LS100THa telescope! Due to the renunciation of other, unnecessary filter the sun's image is brighter than at other double-stack systems.
