This adaptor fits on almost all Schmidt-Cassegrain telescopes, many Maksutov-Cassegrains, and also several other instruments and setups with SC male thread (UNC 2"-24). On the other side it offers the M48 male thread (2" filter thread).
The adaptor can be used to attach accessories with 2" filter thread to instruments with SC thread:
- adaptation of the TS Off Axis Guider 9 mm or the TS Off Axis Guider 27 mm to SC telescopes.
- adaptation of some 2" star diagonals to instruments with SC thread
- straight-through adaptation of 2" eyepieces to telescopes with SC thread
